Synopsis :
Het jonge meisje Sally (Bailee Madison) staat op het punt om met haar vader (Guy Pearce) en zijn vriendin (Katie Holmes) naar een groot landhuis te verhuizen dat ze aan het verbouwen zijn. Billy Wilder maakte enkele jaren na Double Indemnicok en The Lost Weekend enkele noirs die niet zozeer krimi s waren, maar eerder satires op de Hollywoodproducties: Sunset Boulevard (1950) en Ace in the Hole (1951).
